for family members of a passenger who died in the January, 2000 crash of
Oxnard, California of Alaska Airlines Flight 261.

Successfully represented the interests of and obtained substantial compensation for a passenger who was seriously injured when a Gates Lear Jet 35A, transporting him for medical treatment, crashed off a runway in Eagle, Colorado.

Successfully represented the interests of a young man who was assaulted by a gang and sustained profound brain injury in the parking lot of a nightclub in Orange County. Obtained the maximum policy benefit of $1 million.

Successfully represented the interests of public utility in complex, consolidated litigation involving bodily injury, property damage and business interruption claims arising from a catastrophic explosion at a Nevada electric generating plant. Claims exceeded $500 million.

Successfully represented the interests of insureds in aviation insurance bad faith action resulting in recovery of over $9 million in compensatory and punitive damages for the insureds. ($9million bad faith verdict).
Common Carrier
Successfully represented the interests of interstate bus passengers against major bus transportation company and bus manufacturer. Passengers sustained profound injuries, including paraplegia, when inadequate security measures on and design of the bus allowed a deranged passenger to assault the bus driver during transit, resulting in the bus going out of control, running off and rolling over. Compensation obtained exceeded $4 million.
